Welcome to the Exorcist Walkthrough! Discover cursed locations and remove the traces of evil before it’s too late! Whether you use this document as a reference when things get difficult or as a road map to get you from beginning to end, we’re pretty sure you’ll find what you’re looking for here. This document contains a complete Exorcist game walkthrough featuring annotated screenshots from actual gameplay! We hope you find this information useful as you play your way through the game. Use the walkthrough menu below to quickly jump to whatever stage of the game you need help with. Remember to visit the Big Fish Games Forums if you find you need more help. Have fun! General Tips

You can change players by clicking on your username in the top left corner of the screen.
Click the options menu to adjust the different sound volumes, toggle full screen, or mute all sounds.
At the bottom of your screen will always be the hint button on the left, it recharges slowly as you play.
To the right of the hint button is the list of hidden objects you are looking for. This space also gives you objectives if there are no more hidden objects to find or things to do in an area.
To the right of that is a list of your locations and the letter or tarot card pieces that you are searching for in the current scene.
At the very right is your inventory. When you click your inventory bag only the things important to what you are doing at the moment are shown.
There are 4 types of cursors in the game, circled in red in the screenshot.
One is your normal cursor. If you click too many times it will start to spin.
Next is the action cursor for when you can open something or use an item on it.
Next is the look more closely cursor, sparkles that you will see when there is a hidden object hotspot.
Last on the right is the move cursor that shows you that you can go to another location.
Throughout the game you will need to find hidden objects by name and then after that search for a smaller number of objects by image only.
The second group of objects is always inventory items that you need to use to solve the various puzzles in the game.
Hints recharge very slowly, so only use them when you are sure that you are stuck.

Scene 1: Dangerous Game

Collect the BOARD highlighted in red. The BOARD will go into the inventory in the bottom right corner. Open the inventory and use the BOARD to the rock highlighted in red (1). Collect the lizard that was under the rock.
Collect the LADDER highlighted in yellow. Set the LADDER to the wall (2).
Click on the chimney highlighted in red to zoom in. Find the spider on the spider web.
Find other hidden objects listed at the bottom of the screen, in any order, and pieces of letter circled in light blue in the image.
The hidden objects are randomized and may be different in your play-through.
After finding all of the hidden objects, click on the demon highlighted in white in the image.
Find inventory items highlighted in green in the image.

Open the inventory in the bottom right corner.
In order to repair the well, place the WHEEL (1), CHAIN (2) and the BUCKET (3). When you drag a correct item, you will see the specific position with blue highlight where you should place.
Drag the GLASS to the BUCKET with water (4).
Click on the entrance highlighted in light blue at the house to move next scene.

Find the PENCIL and use it to the paper on the wall to collect the number of 13 (1).
Collect the DOOR KNOB and use it to open the shelf (2).
Find the PLIERS and use it to collect the nail (3).
Find other hidden listed at the bottom of the screen, in any order, circled in green in the image.
The hidden objects are randomized and may be different in your play-through.
After finding all of the objects, click on the demon highlighted in white.
Collect the PIECE OF PAINTING and other items highlighted in red in the image.
You can collect the piece of Mephisto’s letter highlighted in blue now if you want. You will need it later.
After finding all pieces of the PAINTING, collect it. There is the KEY behind the painting (4).
Use the OIL CAN from the inventory to the chest. Open the chest with the KEY (5).
Click inside the chest to start the puzzle.

You need to click the nine circles to rotate the tiles until the image is arranged correctly in order to solve this puzzle.
Each circle when clicked will rotate the 4 squares around it.
To finish the puzzle, complete the top side first and then try to finish the bottom side.
Click the upper left hand circle 3 times, the bottom left 3 times and the bottom right 3 times to complete the puzzle.

Collect the CROSS in the chest.
In the inventory, combine the WATER and the CROSS to make HOLY WATER.
Click on the bottom of the screen to exit this room.
Click on the graves in the upper left corner of the screen.

Use the HOLY WATER to extinguish the fire.

Find 17 letters listed at the bottom of the screen, in any order, circled in red in the image.
Pick up the piece of Mephito’s letter on the ground.

Click on the pieces mark in the bottom right corner of the screen to start the puzzle.
Arrange the puzzle pieces like a jigsaw puzzle.
Left click the pieces to pickup and drop them.
Right click the pieces to rotate them.
Use the white space to help you line up the edges.

Scene 2: Margarita’s House

Click on the bicycle in the middle of the screen and then click on it again to enter a hidden object scene.
Find the hidden objects listed at the bottom of the screen, in any order, circled in green in the image.
You will not be able to find all of the hidden objects in the list in one area.
Exit the location, go back another scene, and click on the mail box highlighted with sparkling in the bottom left corner.

Open the mail box with the KEY from the inventory.
Find the hidden objects listed at the bottom of the screen, in any order, circled in green in the image.
Quit the location by clicking the bottom of the screen and click on the bench with black cat in the bottom right corner.

Open the can highlighted in red with CAN OPENER from the inventory. Collect the fish in the can.
Find the hidden objects listed at the bottom of the screen, in any order, circled in green in the image.
Quit the scene, and click on the demon on the house.

Click on the bicycle to move back to that hidden object scene.
Dig the dirt in the pod with the SHOVEL from the inventory. Collect the GEAR.
Click on the pod highlighted in yellow to move it. Collect the gear.
Exit the scene and click on the mail box.

Click on the bench.
Find the GEAR highlighted in red in the image.

Collect the pieces of letter in the two spots.

Return to the entrance and click on the entrance door in the house.

The object of this mini-game is to place all of the gears in the correct position so that they all start spinning.
The gears must connect to the teeth at the top and the bottom and turn them too as they spin.
Click on a gear and then drag them to a nut to place them.
Click on the handle once you have all of the gears places to test it out.
Place the gears above the large gear first, as that is easier and then once that is moving, try the bottom gears.
You can test your progress at any time.

Enter the house from the door.

After finding all objects, you need to find the PALETTE, OIL STAMP and the PAINT highlighted in light blue.
Click on the upstairs to move to next scene.

Click on the painting in the right side of the screen.
Swipe tiles to arrange the picture and then collect it.

Find four items listed at the bottom of the screen, in any order, circled in green in the image.
Click on the ladder to go downstairs.

Click on the painting to the right to enter the next mini-game.
In this mini-game you need to select and mix the correct colors to match the paint of the missing spots on the painting.
All the colors are either single colors or mixes of two.
Click on the grey button in the middle of the palette to clean your brush, then click a paint or two and try the paint on the canvas.
If your color looks to dark add white.
To make a color darker add brown.

Move to the upstairs again.

Place the spirit lamp on the table highlighted in yellow (1).
Place the plate on the SPIRIT LAMP (2).
Put the oil stamp on the PLATE (3).
Light on the lamp with the MATCH (4).
Collect the SECRET WORD, “Curam”.
Move to downstairs by clicking the latter in the bottom side of the screen.

Set the lock number, “485” which is number letters in each secret word, to open the door.

Enter the room from the door.

Collect the PIECES OF MIRROR and fix them.
Collect the PORTRAIT and a piece of the letter highlighted in light blue.

Click on the pieces mark in the bottom right corner of the screen to start the puzzle.
Arrange the puzzle pieces like a jigsaw puzzle.
Left click the pieces to pickup and drop them.
Right click the pieces to rotate them.
Use the white space to help you line up the edges.

Scene 3: Tavern Tussle

Find 20 horse shoes, in any order, circled in light blue in the image.
Collect the pieces of the letter highlighted in red.
Enter the tavern from the middle door.

Find the hidden objects listed at the bottom of the screen, in any order, circled in green in the image.
The hidden objects are randomized and may be different in your play-through.
Collect the piece of letter highlighted in red.
Find the 7 inventory items highlighted in blue.

Open the inventory, and click on the cloth.
Click on the 6 symbols highlighted in yellow with the CLOTH from your inventory.
Move to the next room from the door in the left side of the screen.

Collect the piece of letter highlighted in green in the screenshot.
Collect five inventory items highlighted in red.
Click on the broken pipe on the right side of the screen.

Fix the pipe by using the items in your inventory.
First use the PIPE in the missing piece, then use the NUT on the pipe, then the WRENCH to tighten the NUT, and lastly reattach the HANDLE.
Open the inventory, and click the LIGHTER.
Light on the three lamps highlighted in the middle of the screen. You should see a blue image of the lamps after equipping the lighter.
Click on the door in the middle to move to the next scene.

Collect the piece of the letter highlighted in green in the screenshot.
Collect the CHEESE and place it in front of the rat highlighted in light blue to catch the rat.
Collect the four inventory items circled in red in the screenshot.
Click on the flask highlighted in purple in the middle of the screen.

For this puzzle you need to create a mixture of the two wines that is 12%.
Click on the left lever for six times, and click on the right lever twice in order to make 12% wine.
Start with the wine on the right, because 2 clicks is easier than 6. Then click the other wine until the puzzle is solved.

Click on the pieces marked in the bottom right corner of the screen to start the puzzle.
Arrange the puzzle pieces like a jigsaw puzzle.
Left click the pieces to pickup and drop them.
Right click the pieces to rotate them.
Use the white space to help you line up the edges.

Scene 4: Stagecoach of the Damned

Find the hidden objects listed at the bottom of the screen, in any order, circled in yellow in the image.
The hidden objects are randomized and may be different in your play-through.

Scene 5: Ghost of the Past

Find 12 grasshoppers circled in yellow, 10 Datura flowers circled in red and 12 dragonflies circled in light blue listed at the bottom of the screen, in any order.
There are not enough dragonflies and grasshoppers because they move constantly. You will need to click them quickly to catch them.
All the animals are moving, so your play-through will be different from the screenshot.
After finding all of the items, click on the house to move to the next scene.

Find 10 floats, 10 shells and the 10 spoon baits listed at the bottom of the screen, in any order, circled in yellow in the image.
Find the KEY circled in red, and open the door with the KEY.
In the room, there are two inventory items. Collect them.
Exit the house, and enter the lighthouse in the left side of the screen.

Find hidden objects listed at the bottom of the screen, in any order, circled in yellow in the image.

Collect the HANDLE highlighted in red and place it to the proper spot.
Click on the next room in the middle to move to the next scene.

Find hidden objects listed at the bottom of the screen, in any order, circled in yellow in the image.

Find four inventory items circled in red in the image.

Unscrew the cover with the screwdriver from the inventory (1).
Solve the pipe puzzle by spinning the pipes until the start connects to the finish (2).
You do not need to connect all of the pipes, only one line from the beginning in the top left corner to the end in the middle of the right side.

Return to the upstairs.

Place the WICK (3) in the middle of the lighthouse’s large lantern.
Place the two LENSES on each side (4).
Return to the downstairs.
Add the GEAR and then the CHAIN to the transmission in the middle of the room (5, 6).

Find 12 hidden objects pairs listed at the bottom of the screen, in any order, circled in different colors and shapes in the image.

Find two pairs on inventory items highlighted with square shapes instead of round.

Remove the moss from the grave with SCRAPER in the inventory (1). Click on various large and small pieces until you can do the next step.
Repair inscription on the grave with the CHISEL in the inventory (2).
Place the MARGO’S PORTRAIT to the hole highlighted in light blue (3).

Scene 6: Orphanage

Find hidden objects listed at the bottom of the screen, in any order, circled in red in the image.
The hidden objects are randomized and may be different in your play-through.
Collect the piece of tarot card highlighted in yellow in the screenshot.
Find the KEY behind the doll and open the lock circled in light blue with the KEY in the middle of the screen.
Return to the garden of the castle by clicking the “X” in the top right.
Click on the fountain highlighted with sparkles.

Find three inventory items circled in green in the image.

Click on the door to go closer to it.
Place the BULL HEAD STATUE and the RING on the door for each side.

Click on the fireplace highlighted with sparkles in the right side of the screen.
Find three inventory items highlighted in green in the image.
Return to the previous room.
Find the PILE OF PAPER highlighted in green in the image.

Find hidden objects listed at the bottom of the screen, in any order, circled in red in the image.

Place the PILE OF PAPER in the middle (1).
Set the FIREWOOD in the middle (2).
Light on the fireplace with the MATCH (3).
Return to the previous room, and open the inventory.
Click on the CANDLES, you will then see where you should place them highlighted in blue.

Find two pieces of tarot card circled in red in the image.
After finding all items, enter the next room in the right side of the screen.

Find all of the cursed items circled in red.
Click on the puppet box highlighted in red on the table.

Place all items, in any order. See the image for the solution.
Turn on the show box with the handle circled in purple in the screen.
The doll in the middle will be lifted up, and you will see the KEY.
Collect the KEY.
Exit the room and return to the previous room.
Open the door in the middle with the KEY from the inventory.
Enter the room.

Find 15 envelopes and 15 scrolls listed at the bottom of the screen, in any order, circled in red in the image.

Find 12 differences between the two pictures (1).
You can click on either side of the screen.
Collect the BOOK in the bottom right corner in the screen after you have finished finding the differences (2).

Scene 7: Hellish Express

Enter the ticket office in the left side of the screen.
Find 12 hidden objects listed at the bottom of the screen, in any order, circled in red in the image.
The hidden objects are randomized and may be different in your play-through.
Collect the two pieces of tarot card circled in light blue.
Collect COINS circled in yellow.
Buy the TICKET with the COINS from the inventory by placing them in the bowl at the front of the desk.
Exit the ticket office and click on the train wheel in the bottom right corner.

Find 7 NUTS and the WRENCH highlighted in yellow in the image.
To collect the NUTS, you need to use the WRENCH from the inventory.
Click on the sign highlighted in purple in the image.

Slide the gears to a position where they are all moving to solve the puzzle.
When you click on a square it will move into the empty space.
Arrange the gears in a way that they are all touching from the bottom left corner to the top right corner.

Exit the scene.

Find the COVER highlighted in yellow in the image.

Return to the previous scene and walk farther down the platform to enter the train.
Enter the cabin on the right side of the screen.

You need to find keys highlighted in green first in order to find 12 demons.
Each key you find will release a demon. Click on them all to remove them after you find the keys.
Find the piece of tarot card highlighted in red in the image.
After finding all of the items, collect the PIPE highlighted in yellow.
Exit to the hallway and enter the cabin to the left.

Click on under the right side of bench to move to another hotspot.

Return to the previous scene.

Place the TEA BAG into the tea cup in the middle of the screen.
Pour the water from the TEAPOT into the cup with the tea bag.
Click the HOT TEA to collect it and finish finding hidden objects here.
Find the HANDLE highlighted in yellow in the screen.
Exit the cabinet.

Place the PIPE under the conductor’s brake lever box (1).
Set the COVER on top of it (2).
Place the HANDLE in the cover (3) and click the brake to stop the train.

Scene 8: Dark Forest

Click on the house highlighted with sparkles in the left side of the screen.
Find hidden objects listed at the bottom of the screen, in any order, circled in yellow in the image.
Not all of the hidden objects are in this location.
The hidden objects are randomized and may be different in your play-through.

Find the hidden object listed at the bottom of the screen circled in yellow in the image.
After finding all of objects, click on the path in the middle.
Clear the brunches with the MACHETE from the inventory.
Click on the huge robot in the middle of the screen.

After clicking on the robot you will have to solve a puzzle.
Line up the rings so that the circular image is complete.
Clicking on a ring will rotate that ring and the ring inside it by two.
Solve the rings from the outside, because as you go inside you will not change the rings on the outside.
Use the red stain in the bottom left corner and the star pattern in the middle to line the rings up.

Keep going to the path.

Click on the right hotspot highlighted with sparkles in the scene.
Find a hidden object listed at the bottom of the screen circled in yellow in the image.
You will only be able to find half of the objects here.
Exit by clicking the x button and go to the left hotspot.
Find the other half of the hidden object circled in yellow.
After finding all of objects, move to next scene from the path in the right side of the screen.

Click on the river to start the next mini-game.
Cross the river by using the boards to span the rocks.
Click one of the two boards to pick them up, right click to rotate them, and then click again to drop them down.
Click anywhere else on the screen to walk there if there is a board for you to walk on.
You can use the boards that are connected to where you are standing.

Give the weapons to the correct characters to finish this puzzle.
To switch weapons first click on one weapon and then click on the other.

Enter the castle through the large gate.

Scene 9: Lair of the Beast

Pull down the lever (1) at the right of the screen.
Click on the stones to continue on. They will be shown in their own seen.
If you click on the stones in the wrong order, they will all fall back into the water.
The correct order to move across the stones is in the screenshot (2).

Find five pieces of the stairs hidden around the room.
Once the stairs are back click on the top to move to the upstairs.

You will not be able to find all of the hidden objects in this large scene.
Click on the chest in the middle of the screen, and you will realize you need a stamp to open it.
Collect the STAMP circled in blue and use it on the chest.
Find the rest of the hidden objects in the chest.

After finding all items, find 7 gems highlighted in yellow in both screenshots.
Click on the magic door to start the puzzle.

Place all of the GEMS from your inventory into the correct holes.
When you take a GEM out of your inventory it will highlight where it needs to go in blue.
Enter the next room in the right side of the screen.

There are two hotspots, click the one on the right of the screen on the desk and find some of the hidden objects.
The other hidden objects will be found in the hotspot on the left of the screen, behind the cabinet door.
