Walkthrough Menu

General Information

Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • From the main screen you can manage player profiles (A).
  • The settings menu allows for the adjustment of music and sounds volume (B).
  • You may play in windowed or full screen mode, and it supports a wide screen mode (C).
  • You can enable/disable special effects, voice overs, and the tutorial in this menu (D).
  • Select the Trophies button to see which ones you have earned (E).
  • The High Scores button will track players by the highest number of Lifepoints (F).
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • When designing your character, you may select either male or female (G).
  • Use the arrow buttons to scroll through different body types and hairstyles (H).
  • Select the Randomize button to have the head, torso, and legs shuffled (I).
  • Select the Change Colors button to customize your avatar's coloring (J).
  • Once you are satisfied with your results, select the Accept button in the lower right corner (K).
  • Note - you will not be able to make any changes except for coloring later in the game.

  • This screen will help you choose the hair, eye, skin and lip color.
  • There are eight preset combinations (L).
  • Select a set of colors to see the results on your avatar.
  • Should you prefer to use different colors, press the Customize Current Colors button (M).
  • Select one of the squares in the current color section to customize your character's hair, skin, lip, or eye colors (N).
  • Next, select a point in the color grid (O); you will see that item change on your avatar (P).
  • Select the Accept button when complete to return to the previous screen.

  • Quite a bit of time will be spent on the map screen .
  • The briefcase icon shows the location of your current job (Q).
  • The circle with your character's vehicle indicates your current location (R).
  • The house symbol shows your current place of residence (S).
  • Hover your mouse over a location to learn the location's name and distance you will have to travel (T).
  • Grayed-out locations will become accessible as the game progresses (U).
  • Note your status bar to see how many practicality, charm and intelligence points you have (V).

  • The yellow-orange bar shows your current happiness level (A).
  • The green bar indicates how much time is left in the day (B).
  • Next to the happiness meter is the 'Hungry-o-Meter' that will blink red when you are starving (you will also hear a dinner bell). It will reset to a solid red state when you wake up, indicating that you have not eaten today (C).
  • Press on the symbol for a menu of restaurants you can travel to for food (D).
  • The house symbol tracks your rent or housing situation (E).
  • The counter in the upper right corner is the amount of cash you have available (F).
  • Down the left side of the screen are notices (G).
  • Balloons indicate a sale, briefcases are job notices, and buildings are announcing a building opening. Select an icon to read the notice.
  • Select the list icon for detail on your current stats (H).
  • Select the pie chart icon for a list of your current tasks and progress (I).
  • Select the trophy icon to see which trophies have been awarded (J).
  • Choose the phone icon to manage friends and relationships (K).
  • The handshake icon will show the current political landscape and who is leading in each district for the next mayoral election (L).
  • The gears icon is the settings and options menu; use this to exit to the main menu (M).

  • The vital statistics screen has all the information on your character.
  • Select the icons below your avatar to view, current and past employment, education, pets, vehicles, children etc (N).
  • Select the smaller avatars to change your character into the clothes they are wearing (O).

  • The task screen shows your current progress on a challenge (P).
  • How you compare to your competitor is also tracked here (Q).
  • The day you are on is shown in the upper left (R).
  • This screen will present itself every morning when you rise.

  • Around the 6th day, you will learn that rent will soon be due.
  • Select the house icon to learn that rent is $50 and is due in 8 days (S).
  • When the rent is due, the landlord will appear and request payment.
  • If you do not pay, he will show up later and announce your wages will be garnished (T).

Tips and Tricks

Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • Plan your day before you leave home to make sure you take the most efficient route and don't waste time traveling.
  • During most Challenges, you are given the option to compete with an opponent for additional cash. The first one to complete the challenge wins the cash (A).
  • Remember, your Intelligence, Charm and Practicality ratings do more than help you qualify for jobs. Build them up to be better at other areas of the game (B).
  • Intelligence helps you complete courses quicker. It also makes you become an expert at a job sooner.
  • Intelligence is the most important stat! It will save you lots of time so upgrade it first!
  • Charm helps you make friends and build relationships faster. It also makes campaigning for mayor more effective.
  • Practicality helps you make DIY upgrades to your house faster.
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • Eating doesn't take any time, but chatting does. So, eat right away when you get to the diner/restaurant before you start socializing with the other patrons.
  • The other people in town change their moods depending on what building they're in. If someone gives you a bad chat response try talking to them in another building and they may be more receptive.
  • Consider working at the Diner (C) or Sushi Restaurant (D) when you can. You can work and eat without wasting time traveling between two locations.
  • If you work at the diner or restaurant and your happiness is high you might want to wait to eat when you get there. Work a few shifts before eating so you can get the full effect of your food's happiness.
  • Take fitness classes at the Gym and Tonic (E) to get more Time Units to use each day.
  • Take a trip to Body and Sole at the Mall-in-one to change your hair, eye, lip, or skin coloring colorings for an inexpensive happiness boost.
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • Surprise! You've completed a challenge you didn't select. Great way to save time, but you miss out on the competition prize (F).
  • It is possible to complete several tasks and challenges while you are working on another; make sure to do as much as possible with your time.
  • When a sale comes around at the College, University or Gym sign up for as many courses as you can while the cost is low. You can always go back to complete those courses another day after the sale is over.
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • There are lots of cool things going on in Metropoville at the map screen. Find the bus at the travel agency (G), a swimming whale (H), hot air balloons (I), and airplanes (J).
  • See if you can find a firetruck putting out a fire near the Pawn Shop, a car using the ramp for the expressway, and the changing sign at the mall.
  • The exterior of the house at Class Houses even changes as you complete upgrades (K).
  • You can't buy a car, cat, or dog unless you live at High Horse Towers (L) or Class Houses.
  • Upgrade your vehicle when you get a chance. You'll get more done each day if you're not wasting time traveling from building to building.
  • Upgrade your pets so you can end your days with more happiness and not lose Time Units.
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • Flu shots only cost $10 when the flu isn't going around town. The price jumps to $75 when a flu bug hits.
  • Locations with a flu outbreak will have a fog and germs floating around (M).
  • Make sure to travel to the Bleeding Heart Hospital for a flu shot first (N).
  • Should you forget, you will need to go home and recover. Press the Relax button (O) until the sickness meter is empty (P).
  • You can set up outfits at your home that you can quickly change into on the stats screen. Use these outfits to quick-change for different job clothing bonuses (Q).
  • You'll earn a 5% clothing bonus at your job for EACH piece of clothing you have that's the right type. That means you can earn up 15% extra just for dressing right.
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • When you receive a newspaper notice that someone is in jail, travel to the LQPD (R).
  • Pay the non-refundable $50 bail (S) to release them from the cell (T).
  • Not all spouses are Jail Bird material; perhaps dating someone you have bailed out of jail is the way to go.
  • Not happy with your current spouse? 'Divorce' your current partner by asking another to date.
  • Become really good friends with someone and you can unlock their 'head' for your avatar the next time you play.
  • Keying in random numbers on the touchpad of the phone will result in some amusing wrong numbers messages, listen to them all.
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • You earn sleep bonuses for pets, family and going to sleep early (U).
  • You are deducted for bring hungry or unhappy (V).
  • Take fitness classes to get more Time Units each day.
  • Save or invest money at the bank to earn extra money while you're busy with other things.
  • If you need to earn a lot of money, take a vacation at the travel agency first. Your Happiness will be maxed out for a few days after a trip, so you don't have to worry about your Happiness dropping too low.
  • Need some quick cash? Sell items that you don't need anymore at the Pawn Shop.
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • Kids are great and will give you a happiness boost when you play with them at the daycare. But near the end of each day you have to pick them up at Kinder Kollege (W). Consider waiting until later in the game to complete the 'Have 3 Kids' Challenge.
  • The Upside Downs Amusement Park (X) rides give varying amounts of happiness. You can only see how each ride will affect you if you own the 'Ride Guide'.
  • Keep completing research projects to improve your chances of winning the Knobel Prize. The more Research you complete, the more likely you are to win the Knobel Prize.
  • Check out the name of the University (Y) after you win the Knobel Prize. They'll name it after you!
  • Visit the Power Trips Travel Agency (Z) often if you want to complete the 'Take All Trips' Challenge Task. Near the end of the game, the travel agency will try to help you complete all the trips by offering trips that you haven't taken yet.
  • The Knuckleheads start playing great near day 90. They'll win a championship every time in their final complete season before day 100. See them play at the Big Fish Bowl (1).

Startup: First Job

Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • You must complete all three challenges in Startup to unlock the next Life Quests.
  • Once you complete your avatar, you will automatically go to the map screen.
  • Select the Self Help Center that is located in the pulsing red circle (A).
  • Notice your avatar will move from your residence to the self help center (B).

  • Each Life Quest has three challenges; select the inner piece of the Startup wedge (C) for the first challenge.
  • Note the tasks in the challenge (D), then select the Accept button (E).
  • After you accept the challenge, you will have the option to continue with the tutorial.
  • Select City Hall on the map (F).
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • The center blue box lists the possible positions (G); you may sort by unlocked positions, wages, or distance from your residence (H).
  • All lists of this type will be sortable.
  • Hover your mouse over a listing to see information on a position (I).
  • Select a position to see more details on a job (J).
  • Note that some positions require higher stats, special classes, specific clothing or items.
  • Select the Apply button to choose a job (K).
  • The Apply button will change to Unqualified if you do not meet all the prerequisites.
  • Select the Leave button in the lower left (L).
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • Select the briefcase icon on the screen to travel to your new job (M).
  • Since you also will need to visit or shop at the locations, you will have those options, but for now, select the Work button (N).
  • Select the Work button in your job screen to work your first shift and complete this challenge (O).

Startup: First Wheels

  • The Life Quest challenge selection screen will automatically appear upon completion of your currently selected challenge.
  • Select the center wedge of the Startup slice for the First Wheels Challenge (A).
  • Note the tasks in the challenge (B), then press the Accept button (C).
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • You should still be at your place of employment, so re-enter the building and work another shift (D).
  • You will hear a bell and the Hunger-o-Meter will turn to red (E).
  • Hover your mouse over the Hunger-o-Meter symbol to learn green means you are not hungry, red means you have not eaten today, and blinking red means you are starving (F).
  • Select the Hunger-o-Meter to see the possible eating establishments, then select the Chez What? Button to travel to the restaurant (G).
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • Hover your mouse over the menu (I) to get more information on an item (J).
  • Select an item to bring it up on the right, then press the Eat button (K).
  • Leave the restaurant then select the house icon to travel home.
  • At this point, you should be out of time units and will hear a bell signaling the end of the day.
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • Your Sleep Summary will open, showing any bonuses or penalties (L), today's available time units (M), and your Life Points (N).
  • Click anywhere to close the Sleep summary and the Task screen will open.
  • This will show your current challenge and the progress you have made (O).
  • Click anywhere to close the task screen and return to the map.
  • Travel to your place of employment and work several shifts to earn at least $30.
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • Travel to Rick's Rollers and select the Shop button.
  • Hover your mouse over the menu (P) to get more information on an item (Q).
  • Select the skateboard or a bicycle (R) to bring it up on the right, then press the Next button (S).
  • Choose a color for your skateboard, then select accept to complete the challenge (T).

Startup: Small Companion

Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • The Life Quest challenge selection screen will automatically appear upon completion of your currently selected challenge.
  • Select the outer wedge of the Startup slice for the Small Companion Challenge (A).
  • Note the tasks in the challenge (B), then press the Accept button (C).
  • Return to your job and work a few shifts to earn at least $20. Remember to eat and return home before your time runs out for the day to avoid penalties.
  • If you have completed enough shifts to become an expert at your current job, you may want to visit city hall to get a better paying position.
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • Travel to Mall-in-one (D), just above Rick's Rollers.
  • Inside the mall, there are several shops, but only one is currently open; select the I Can Has Pets shop (E).
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • Since dogs and cats are not allowed at your apartment, select the Fishies button (F).
  • Select a fish within your means; note that although the water spider is $6 cheaper than the tropical fish, it provides a larger sleep bonus (G).
  • Select your fish, then choose your colors to complete this challenge (H).
  • When the Life Quest challenge selection screen appears, you will be able to choose from Popularity, Fitness, and Academics challenges.
  • The remaining challenges are not in any particular order, you may choose any unlocked challenge.

Academics: Freshman

Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • You must complete the 3 Startup challenges to unlock this path.
  • Select the inner wedge on the Academics slice for the Freshman challenge (A).
  • Note the tasks in the challenge (B), then press the Accept button (C).
  • You will have the option to compete with an opponent on this challenge (D).
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • Remember to eat when you are hungry, make it home before time runs out, and earn money.
  • Travel to the Live and Learn College. It is the pink building just left of City Hall.
  • Select a course (E) within your means and press enroll (F).
  • The Enroll button will change to Attend Class; press this button until you complete the course.
  • The number of remaining classes will show just below the Attend Class button (G).
  • Should you have to leave before you complete a course, it will be marked Enrolled when you return (H).
  • Courses grayed-out require items that you do not yet possess; hover your mouse over a course to see the requirements.
  • Requisite items can be purchased from Nick's Knacks at the Mall-in-one.

Academics: Higher Learning

Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • You must complete Academics: Freshman to unlock this challenge.
  • This challenge will cost approximately $1400 in tuition.
  • Select the center wedge on the Academics slice for the Higher Learning challenge (A).
  • Note the tasks in the challenge (B), then press the Accept button (C).
  • You will have the option to compete with an opponent on this challenge.
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • Travel to the U Candoit University on the right side of the map (D).
  • Enroll and complete the Basic, Advanced, and Degree courses in Science, Arts, or Business (E).

Academics: Genius

Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • You must complete Academics: Higher Learning to unlock this challenge.
  • This challenge will cost approximately $4500 in tuition.
  • Select the outer wedge on the Academics slice for the Higher Learning challenge (A).
  • Note the tasks in the challenge (B), then press the Accept button (C).
  • You will have the option to compete with an opponent on this challenge.
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • Travel to the U Candoit University on the right side of the map (D).
  • Enroll and complete the Master's Degree and PhD courses (E).
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • Once you have completed your PhD, you can begin research by selecting the Research tab at the bottom of the screen (F).
  • Press the Research button to perform experiments for your research projects (G).
  • 50 Time Units and and a dollar are used every time the Research button is pressed.
  • You can complete one research project a day and should do as many as possible until the Knobel Prize is awarded.
  • You can track your progress just above the button (H).
  • The Knobel Prize is awarded every 20 days.

Fitness: Tone Up

Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • You must complete the 3 Startup challenges to unlock this path.
  • Select the inner wedge on the Fitness slice for the Tone Up challenge (A).
  • Note the tasks in the challenge (B), then press the Accept button (C).
  • You will have the option to compete with an opponent on this challenge.
  • Travel to your place of employment and earn at least $28.
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • Travel to the Gym and Tonic near the stadium (D).
  • Taking fitness classes will increase your daily max time units.
  • Select a fitness class to take; note the grayed-out classes have prerequisites (E).
  • You will be able to see how many lessons there are and the size of the Time Units boost (F).
  • Complete all the lessons in the course to complete this challenge.

Fitness: Great Shape

Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • You must complete the Fitness: Tone Up challenge to unlock this challenge.
  • Select the middle wedge on the Fitness slice for the Great Shape challenge (A).
  • Note the tasks in the challenge (B), then press the Accept button (C).
  • You will have the option to compete with an opponent on this challenge.
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • Travel to the Gym and Tonic near the stadium (D).
  • Take fitness courses to increase your max time units to 800 (E).
  • Note that many courses require additional equipment (F).
  • Requisite items can be purchased from Nick's Knacks at the Mall-in-one.

Fitness: Maxed Out

Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • You must complete the Fitness: Great Shape challenge to unlock this challenge.
  • Select the outer wedge on the Fitness slice for the Maxed Out challenge (A).
  • Note the tasks in the challenge (B), then press the Accept button (C).
  • Return to the Gym and Tonic to complete all the fitness courses.
  • Remember to purchase necessary equipment from Nick's Knacks at the Mall-in-one.

Popularity: Friendship

  • You must complete the 3 Startup challenges to unlock this path.
  • Select the inner wedge on the Popularity slice for the Friendship challenge (D).
  • Note the tasks in the challenge (E), then press the Accept button (F).
  • You will have the option to compete with an opponent on this challenge.

  • Travel to various locations on the map and chat with 3-4 people.
  • Select an individual's icon at the top of the screen (G).
  • Press the Chat button (H) to speak with the person, then press the Done button (I).

Popularity: Campaign Trail

  • You must complete the Popularity: Friendship challenge to unlock this challenge.
  • Select the middle wedge on the Popularity slice for the Campaign Trail challenge (A).
  • Note the tasks in the challenge (B), then press the Accept button (C).
  • You will have the option to compete with an opponent on this challenge.
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • Travel to various locations on the map and chat with people until you make 3 friends.
  • Select an individual's icon at the top of the screen (D).
  • Press the Chat button (E) to speak with the person, then press the Done button (F).
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • Travel to the Live and Learn College and complete the Debate Club course (G).
  • Enroll and complete additional courses to bring your Charm to 350 (H).

Popularity: Mayor

Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • You must complete the Popularity: Campaign Trail challenge to unlock this challenge.
  • Select the outer wedge on the Popularity slice for the Mayor challenge (A).
  • Note the tasks in the challenge (B), then press the Accept button (C).
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • Elections are held every 10 days; you can track the days in the upper center of the screen (D).
  • Visit any location and select the Campaign tab at the bottom of the screen (E).
  • Press the Campaign button (F) to move yourself up the popularity list (G).
  • You must get your name to the top of the list in a majority of the locations.
  • Check the handshake icon in the lower right to see the current political landscape and who is leading in each district.
  • After 10 days, the results will be announced (H).
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • Once you are elected Mayor, you will go to City Hall to select your policy.
  • Mayoral policies can improve your popularity in some districts, but they can also make you less popular in other districts. (I).
  • You will probably receive phone calls wanting the roads repaired or other requests.
  • You can return to City Hall anytime during stint as Mayor to change policies by selecting the Policies tab at the bottom (J).

Athletics: Get In Gear

Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • This path will unlock after 4 challenges or when/if you get a job at the clothing store.
  • Select the inner wedge on the Athletics slice for the Get In Gear challenge (A).
  • Note the tasks in the challenge (B), then press the Accept button (C).
  • You will have the option to compete with an opponent on this challenge.
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • The first task of earning $5 should already be checked; if not, travel to your job and work a few shifts.
  • Travel to the Mall-in-one, just below the stadium (D).
  • Inside the mall, select 'Sew-It Seams' (E).
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • Scroll through the items and select the exercise shirt, pants and/or sneakers (F).
  • You only need to purchase one item to complete the challenge.
  • You can customize the colors for each piece by selecting the color grid (G).
  • Select Buy these items! (H) to complete the challenge.

Athletics: Pay Your Dues

Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • This path will unlock once you complete the Athletics: Get In Gear challenge.
  • Select the middle wedge on the Athletics slice for the Pay Your Dues challenge (A).
  • Note the tasks in the challenge (B), then press the Accept button (C).
  • You will have the option to compete with an opponent on this challenge.
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • If you have not yet purchased the hockey stick, travel to Nick's Knacks at the Mall-in-one (D).
  • Travel to the Gym and Tonic where you need to enroll and complete the Ice Hockey and Advanced Hockey courses (E).
  • Travel to City Hall and apply for the Minor League Athlete position (F).

Athletics: Superstar

Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • This path will unlock once you complete the Athletics: Pay Your Dues challenge.
  • Select the outer wedge on the Athletics slice for the Superstar challenge (A).
  • Note the tasks in the challenge (B), then press the Accept button (C).
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • Travel to the Big Fish Bowl and work shifts as Minor League Athlete until you become an expert (D).
  • If you have not yet purchased the human centrifuge, travel to Nick's Knacks at the Mall-in-one (E).
  • Travel to the Gym and Tonic, then enroll and complete the Enhanced Gravity Training course (F).
  • Travel to the Live and Learn College; take courses to increase your stats to 1000 practicality, 200 intelligence, and 150 charm (G). Some courses may require items you can purchase at Nick's Knacks.
  • Return to City Hall and apply for the Professional Athlete position, then work all the shifts to become an expert.

Practicality: Whittling

Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • You must complete 4 challenges to unlock this path.
  • Select the inner wedge on the Practicality slice for the Whittling challenge (A).
  • Note the tasks in the challenge (B), then press the Accept button (C).
  • You will have the option to compete with an opponent on this challenge.
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • Travel to your job and work shifts until you earn at least $37.
  • Travel to the Mall-in-one (D) and visit Nick's Knacks (E) and purchase the woodworking kit.
  • Travel to the Live and Learn College, then enroll and complete the Whittling course (F).

Practicality: Practicality

Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • You must complete the Practicality: Whittling challenge to unlock Practicality: Practicality.
  • Select the middle wedge on the Practicality slice for the Practicality challenge (A).
  • Note the tasks in the challenge (B), then press the Accept button (C).
  • You will have the option to compete with an opponent on this challenge.
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • Return to the Live and Learn College; take classes (D) that will increase your practicality stat to 500 (E).
  • Note that you may have to travel to Nick's Knacks at the Mall-in-one for some required items (F).

Practicality: DIY

Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • You must complete the Practicality: Practicality challenge to unlock Practicality: DIY.
  • Select the outer wedge on the Practicality slice for the Practicality challenge (A).
  • Note the tasks in the challenge (B), then press the Accept button (C).
  • Return to the Live and Learn College and continue with the courses to increase your practicality stat to 1000.
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • Next, travel to Class Houses and purchase a home for $3,000 (D).
  • Inside your new home, press the Home Improvement button (E).
Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • There are 8 home improvement projects to complete (F).
  • The Renovate Living Room project will unlock once you complete the three bedrooms (G).
  • Press the blue buttons with the cost per time you work on each project to progress (H).
  • The check marks indicate completed projects (I).

Leisure: Day At The Park

Life Quest 2: Metropoville
  • This path will unlock after 5 challenges or when/if you get a job at the amusement park.

  • There are 2 ways to complete this task. One is to simply work until you earn $10,000, or you can do some banking or investing.
  • Travel to Rupt Bank (D).
  • You can deposit funds into savings that will earn 2.50% interest per day by using the Deposit button (E).
  • Select the Invest button to purchase stocks (F).
  • Watch the ticker stream to see current values (G), then frequent the businesses to influence the market.

Finance: Moneybags

  • You must complete the Finance: Small Fortune challenge to unlock this path.
  • Select the outer wedge on the Finance slice for the Moneybags challenge (A).
  • Note the tasks in the challenge (B), then press the Accept button (C).

  • You must work, bank, or invest to earn at least $100,000.
  • Visit City Hall and look at the Hedge Fund Manager position (D).
  • Look at the prerequisites, then take the necessary steps to become qualified (E).
  • Increase stats, become an Expert Investment banker, purchase clothing and get a Masters degree.
  • Once you are qualified, return to City Hall and apply for the position to complete the challenge.

Medicine: Worth The Pain

  • This path will unlock after 5 challenges or when/if you get a job at the hospital.

  • Note that if there is a current outbreak as indicated by the germs (F), flu shots increase to $75.

Medicine: Learn to Heal

  • Travel to the LQPD and work shifts until you become an Expert Detective to complete the challenge (F).

Law: Chief

  • Return to City Hall and Apply for the Police Chief position.
  • You will need to have completed a degree at the university, completed the Steeplechase course at the gym, and have raised your stats to 400 practicality and 500 intelligence.
  • Return to the LQPD and work shifts until you become an Expert Police Chief to complete the challenge.

Relationship: Dating

  • Select the inner wedge on the Relationship slice for the Dating challenge (A).

  • When you visit establishments, make sure to chat with the patrons (D).
  • If it is someone you don't know you will just be able to chat for a moment (E).
  • Pay attention when you chat to learn your friend's likes and dislikes.
  • If you have become friends with the person by speaking with them previously, you can do an activity together (F).
  • Select an activity from the list then you both will travel to that location (G).
  • Perform the activity such as ride the roller coaster or eat some sushi, then exit the location.
  • You will see a comment from your friend and see the meter increase (H).
  • You can only do one activity/chat per day per person.

  • You can also work on relationships by selecting the telephone icon in the lower right of your screen.
  • People that you have become friends with will show in your friends list (I).
  • Select a friend's name and their avatar and status will show in the center (J).
  • Select 'Discuss Activities!' on the left to learn what your friend wants to do (K), then select that activity on the right (L).
  • Once you have done several activities, you will be Really Good Friends.
  • Select the Ask to Date button on the left to begin dating (M).

Relationship: Love and Marriage

  • You will need to spend several days dating someone and doing activities (D) until your meter is near full and it reads Happily Dating (E).
  • Travel to Nick's Knacks at the Mall in one and purchase a ring.
  • Return to the telephone screen, select the person you are dating, then propose by pressing the Propose Marriage button (F).

Relationship: Offspring

  • You must complete the Relationship: Love and Marriage challenge to unlock this path.
  • Select the outer wedge on the Relationship slice for the Offspring challenge (A).
  • Note the tasks in the challenge (B), then press the Accept button (C).

  • Remain happily married for 3 days by doing activities with your spouse that they enjoy (D).
  • After 3 days, you can have your first child by pressing the Make a Baby button (E).
  • Have 2 more children with your spouse to complete this challenge.
  • You must wait 3 days in between each child.
  • You must now pick up your children from the day care center at the end of each day (F).
