General Tips

• This is the official guide for PuppetShow: Fatal Mistake.
• This guide will not mention each time you have to zoom into a location; the screenshots will show each zoom scene.
• Hidden-object puzzles are referred to as HOPs. This guide will not show HOP solutions. It will identify the location of the HOP and the inventory item acquired.
• This guide will show solutions for non-random puzzles. Please read the in-game instructions for each puzzle.
• In this game, you will sometimes have to select the new scene to trigger dialog, cut-scenes, or tasks prior to interacting with the scene.

Chapter 1: University

• Select (A-B-C).
• You earn MECHANICAL RAVEN.
• Take STUDENT PASS; read note; take PROFESSOR'S PHOTO (D).

• Talk x2 (E).
• Select (F).
• Take 1/2 BUTTON (G).
• Open case; take ELECTROSHOCK WEAPON; play HOP; take 2/2 BUTTON (H).

• Place BUTTON; select 1-6; take 1/2 BRAIN (I).
• Play HOP; earn UNIVERSITY EMBLEM (J).
• Place UNIVERSITY EMBLEM; take 2/2 BRAIN (K).

• Place BRAIN (L) and STUDENT PASS (M).
• Go right.

• Use ELECTROSHOCK WEAPON (N).
• Solution (O).

• Take 1/2 WEIGHT (P).
• Talk; take SCREEN CODE (Q).
• Play HOP; earn BIRD (R).

Chapter 2: Mansion

• Use ELECTROSHOCK WEAPON; take CASSETTE and FAN (J).
• Take STATUE SWITCH (K).

• Place HEART HALF; take BIRD WING (N).
• Place BIRD WING; earn 2/3 LIGHT (O).

• Place WOODPECKER; take MIRROR and 1/3 STATUE PART (F).

• Use KEY; take HELMET (H).
• Place HELMET; drag (I-J).
• Take 1/3 SNAKE HEAD and SCREWDRIVER (K).
• Walk down.

• Use SCREWDRIVER; take WIRES (L).
• Place TOOLS (M).
• Play HOP; earn AXE (N).
• Go forward.

• Move (A-B).
• Use AXE (C); move to (B).
• Place WIRES; solution (D); press down arrow.
• Move (E-B).
• Go left (F).

• Talk (G).
• Take HANDKERCHIEF; read note (H).
• Take 2/3 STATUE PART; use HANDKERCHIEF; earn SHARD (I).

• Take 3/3 SNAKE HEAD (F).

• Open cover; take INSTRUCTIONS (G).
• Take TAPE RECORDER (H).
• CASSETTE on TAPE RECORDER; press play button. Play HOP; earn PASSWORD.
• Place SNAKE HEAD and INSTRUCTIONS; solution; earn CRANK (I).
• Use CRANK; take HOUR HAND (J).
• Select (K).

• Place PASSWORD (L) and HOUR HAND (M).
• Select hour hand; stop it on the first animal (N). Do this for each subsequent animal (O-P-Q-R).
• This mini-game is randomly generated; your solution may vary.

• Talk; take BALLERINA (A).
• Take 1/3 CAMPANULA (B).
• Walk down.
• Place BALLERINA; take FUSE (C).
• Walk down.
